How Many Microsoft Apps Do You Use To Manage Your Workload?

Many of us have Outlook, OneNote, Excel, and a variety of other tools we use to manage our workloads. But what if we told you you can consolidate and share all your important information in one place? 

TEAMs was made available to many workplaces during COVID restrictions to better enable video conferencing, but here's how it can help you whole lot more?


1. Create A Channel.

Inside Microsoft Teams, you can create a Channel for a specific work project or initiative inside your Team. When you need to share information, you can use the Channel for anything that you would put in an Outlook email to the group. The Chat allows open share discussion and things like agendas, meeting notes, spreadsheets, and SharePoint sites can all be shared on the Tabs in the Channel This will greatly reduce internal emailing for the project. That will make your inbox less daunting.

2. Imbed Your Notebook.

If you are using OneNote to organize meetings and shared notetaking, you can imbed that OneNote notebook inside a TEAMS channel. Use the + symbol in the Channel Tabs to create a short cut to the group’s notebook. When saving an email, use the Send to OneNote button to save a copy for the group in the Notebook in the Channel.

3. Consolidate Your Tasks.

Use the Tasks App in TEAMS to bring together your tasks from To Do, Outlook and Channel Planners all in one place!

TEAMs is a great way to work collaboratively when we all work remotely.
